Agreement to these terms
By downloading, installing or using Apk Extractor, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the app or this site. If you use the app on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.
These terms are between you and Muhammad Saad, the independent developer of Apk Extractor. They are not between you and Google or any app store.
What the app does
Apk Extractor is a local Android utility. It lists the applications installed on your device, shows details about them, and lets you copy the APK file of an app or save its icon to a folder you choose. It can also open the Play Store listing or share an APK through Android's share sheet.
The app works with the apps already installed on your device. It does not download apps from the internet, bypass app-store purchases, remove licence checks, or modify the APKs it copies.
Your licence to use the app
Subject to these terms, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Apk Extractor on devices you own or control, for lawful personal use.
This licence does not allow you to:
- sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app itself;
- modify, reverse engineer or decompile the app except where the law expressly permits it;
- remove copyright, licence or attribution notices from the app or this site;
- use the app's name, icon or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
The app is supplied free of charge. Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of the app, its code or its branding.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Apk Extractor only in ways that are lawful and fair. In particular, you must not use it to:
- extract, copy or distribute an app that you do not own or have permission to copy;
- share, upload or sell APKs in violation of copyright, trademark, licence or app-store terms;
- bypass payments, licence checks, DRM or other technical protection measures;
- distribute malware, spyware or modified builds of someone else's app;
- harass, defraud or harm another person;
- break any applicable law or regulation.
Extracted files and third-party apps
APKs and icons you extract belong to the app they came from and may be protected by copyright, trademark and licence terms. You are responsible for how you use, store and share them.
Android is a trademark of Google LLC. Google Play and other app stores are operated by their respective owners. Apps you extract may be subject to their own terms of service. Apk Extractor does not grant you a licence to any third-party app.
Files remain in the folder you choose until you delete them. Uninstalling Apk Extractor does not remove those files.
No affiliation
Apk Extractor is an independent app built by Muhammad Saad. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, Android, Google Play, or the developers of the applications you extract.
Any third-party names, icons or trademarks shown in the app belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the apps installed on your device.
Availability and updates
The app is provided free of charge and may change, be updated or be discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available, that every Android device or app will be supported, or that the app will always be free of errors.
Updates may add, modify or remove features. If a change materially affects these terms, we will update this page and its effective date.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apk Extractor and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that extracted APKs will be complete, installable or accepted by another device or service, or that the app will work with every app, Android version or manufacturer's software.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muhammad Saad will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, device functionality or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of Apk Extractor, this website or any file you extract or share.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the app, which is zero, or (b) USD 10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Third-party links and services
The app and this site link to third-party services such as Google Play and the developer's website. Those services are not controlled by us and have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country, the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the app.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
Contact
Questions about these terms, licensing or a specific app are welcome. Please include the app version and a clear description of the issue.
